An estimated 200 people attended the Recovery Walk on Sept. 21! There was a great crowd enjoying the resources, food, festivities and the walk. We lucked out with perfect weather and the beautiful setting Kiwanis Park offered with the lake, paved trail, and the playground for all the children! Vendors went above and beyond with the donated door prizes that created additional excitement for all who attended,
thank you for your contribution and continued support!
A special thank you to our Recovery Walk Event Sponsors:
BLADE was created as a collaboration between Law Enforcement, Community Services, Recovery Community, Crow Wing County Schools and the Community as a whole. The 5-pointed star in our logo represents this collaborative. The idea is simple, approach and combat our drug problem in a whole new way, through education.
The BLADE/Opioid Coalition invites community members/ agencies to advance collaborative, community-based work through a funding opportunity. Grants will be available to community members and/or organizations in Crow Wing County to impact substance misuse and the impacts of the opioid epidemic in the community.
